Paqtory

Paqtory

Paqtory is an online printing service that allows individuals and businesses to design and order custom printed products such as business cards, banners, brochures, apparel, and promotional materials through a web and mobile platform.

The Problem

Small business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals need a simple and intuitive way to design and order high-quality printed products. Existing printing platforms can feel overwhelming due to complex design tools, unclear pricing, and lengthy checkout processes, causing frustration and abandoned orders.

The Goal

Design a simple, intuitive end-to-end online printing experience that allows individuals and small business owners to quickly understand Paqtory’s value, easily customize printed products, and confidently place orders without design or printing errors.

The experience aims to reduce complexity in product selection, make design tools approachable for non-designers, provide transparent pricing, and clearly communicate order status—helping users complete their orders efficiently and with confidence.

Responsibility

To design an easy-to-use, end-to-end custom printing experience that enables users to:

    • Quickly select products

    • Easily customize designs

    • Confidently place orders

    • Track progress without confusion

User Research: Summary

I conducted qualitative user research through user interviews and online surveys to understand how people currently design and order printed products. The focus was on identifying pain points, expectations, and behaviors when using online printing services.

User Research: Painpoint

Pain Point 1

Users find it difficult to choose the right product specifications (paper type, finish, size) without clear guidance.

Pain Point 2

Design tools feel intimidating for users with little or no graphic design experience.

Pain Point 3

Users are frustrated by hidden costs that appear late in the checkout process.

Pain Point 4

Tracking orders and understanding production status is often unclear and stressful.

Persona

Amina Okafor

Amina is a small business owner who sells skincare products online and at weekend pop-up markets. She wants her brand to look professional, but she doesn’t have graphic design skills or time to learn complicated tools. She needs a fast and affordable way to create business cards, stickers, labels, and flyers without making mistakes in sizing or print quality.
